We provide assistance for researchers at the Warsaw University of Technology in the area of activities related to technology transfer and development of cooperation with entrepreneurs for the purpose of realization their research projects.

In accordance with the The Senate of the Warsaw University of Technology resolution 261/XLVIII/2015 of 11 March 2015 and Academic Regulations on management of copyright and related rights and industrial property rights and rules of commercialization (Appendix to the Resolution) authors are obligated to notify about creation of intellectual property and a possibility of the commercialization of research results.

Documentation required for submitting a patent or Know-How application at the Warsaw University of Technology:

  1. Karta Zgłoszenia Wyników
  2. Karta Technologii – information contained therein shall be used to evaluation of commercialization possibilities and  serve as a proposal for interested entities
  3. Statement of an invention’s author – for co-authors/authors, who are employees of the Warsaw University of Technology.
  4. Agreement on transfer of rights to results – for co-authors/authors, who are not employees of the Warsaw University of Technology., including students and doctoral students (2 copies for each person)

 For needs of Authors associated with the Warsaw University of Technology Institute of Applied Research has prepared the following model agreements

  • sale of an invention  (protected by a patent)
  • sale of a trade mark or an utility model (protected by the trademark laws)
